I am a Registered member of British Association Counselling and Psychotherapy(BACP) 

Accredited member of the National Counselling Society(NCS)

Both bodies are approved by the Professional Standards Authority.(PSA) As such I adhere to the BACPs Ethical Framework and NCS Code of Ethics.

I attend regular CPD and relevant research to keep my knowledge up to date. 

Supervision 

I have regular formal supervision in accordance with BACP/NCS requirements with a qualified counselling supervisor to ensure the quality of my work and that I am working in the best interests of each client.

My supervisor is bound by the same confidentiality requirements and I will not reveal your name or contact details or any identifiable information about you.

Confidentiality

Session content is held in the strictest confidence.There are some exceptions to this, in the event of safe guarding concerns regarding children and young people. Or where there is evidence that clients or others are at risk of serious harm.In this case I will need to break confidentiality.

Qualifications

I hold a Diploma with distinction in Humanistic Gestalt  Counselling, validated by Winchester University(2012)

ABC Level 3 Counselling skills certificate (2009)

Transactional Analysis 101 (2009)

NCFE Mental Health Awareness Training

Ongoing safeguarding training

BA (Hons) Social Science and Literature.
